Electroengine

Electroengine in Sweden AB (Electroengine) has its head office and the majority of its operations in Uppsala, Sweden. The company develops and markets system products and solutions for the next generation of electric vehicles, based on Thomas Bergfjord's innovations and developments.

 

Electroengine has been supported from an early stage by the Uppsala Innovation Centre (www.uic.se), a leading incubator for start up companies in Uppsala, and has also received financial support primarily from Almi Företagspartner (Almi corporate partner) in Uppsala.
 
Cooperation with regard to development is pursued at various levels with a number of well-known technology companies, such as Semikron GmbH, which is one of the world's largest suppliers of power technology components, DMC GmbH, which has developed one of the leading control software applications for synchronous engines, and the Swedish company Prevas, a consulting business with specialist expertise in the field of IT and product development.

Green Highway

Sundsvall-Östersund and Trondheim municipalities collaborate in three areas which may contribute to a positive development within the municipalities.  Green Highway and the electric car project is one part in the effort to develop the infrastructure and valid communications.

Green Highway is a venture to create a green transport axis along a renewable energy belt, including investments in electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, renewable fuels, testing and development, as well as building up and spreading knowledge of this.
