Swedish Wind Energy

As the national trade association, Swedish Wind Energy looks after the financial interests of its members by acting as the collective voice of the industry in society. We act as the central hub on wind power issues, for all our members and other stakeholders, and this helps us stimulate interest in wind power.

Swedish Wind Energy's main aim is to promote the development of the market for wind power in Sweden. Our goal is to make sure that wind power is developed to its full potential and contributes to long-term sustainability for Sweden.

Green Highway

Sundsvall-Östersund and Trondheim municipalities collaborate in three areas which may contribute to a positive development within the municipalities.  Green Highway and the electric car project is one part in the effort to develop the infrastructure and valid communications.

Green Highway is a venture to create a green transport axis along a renewable energy belt, including investments in electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, renewable fuels, testing and development, as well as building up and spreading knowledge of this.

Durable Gotland launched

The first electric powered car in the project Smart Mobility Gotland can now be found on the island. An entirely electrically powered car that has been bought by Stavfa Gård is now driven quietly and without releasing any harmful exhaust onto Gotland's streets. The car is not seen only as an environmentally friendly way of transportation, but also as an investment in the future. Power Circle has together with GEAB and Produkt Gotland initiated the electric car project named "Smart Mobility Gotland" which aims to increase the interest in electrically driven cars and to develop the infrastructure that is needed. The project initially turned towards small companies and the thought is to present Gotland as a sustainable and unique island.
